How we report

What we cover

Uruguay Can reports on the crypto industry as a whole: networks and protocol changes, exchanges and custody, stablecoins, regulation and court cases, security incidents and the companies and communities behind them. We publish no trading signals, price targets or personal investment recommendations.

How stories are sourced

Reporting starts from primary material, such as official filings, code repositories, on-chain records, regulator statements and company announcements, and from reputable outlets where they add something. Sources are linked in the text, and every story separates what is confirmed from what remains unclear.

Independence

What we cover and how we frame it is an editorial decision alone. A mention of any project, token or service is reporting, not an endorsement, and no project is treated more kindly because of its size or reputation.

Corrections

When a story contains a factual error, we correct it in the article and make clear what changed. Updates that add new information are marked as updates rather than folded silently into the text.

Not financial advice

Everything published here is for information only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and no article should be treated as a reason to buy, sell or hold an asset.
